He is listening. He will say something in a moment — or he won't.
He calls before the car is alongside you.
A spotter who reports what is happening right now reports it too late: by the time the sentence is out, the car has already gone by. So this one works it out ahead of time.
Prediction instead of report
The closing rate between two cars says when they will be side by side. If that moment is less than 0,9 seconds away, the call comes now — roughly when you need it, instead of one and a half car lengths later.
No ghosts on the parallel straight
At the Nordschleife, at Le Mans and at Daytona the track runs alongside itself. Anything that only measures distances in space reports cars there that are a kilometre of track away. In Le Mans Ultimate each opponent's lap position is therefore part of the calculation: anyone not on the same stretch of track is not a neighbour.
Called once, not three times
A car in the middle of an overtake drifts along the edges of every measurement window. Without a memory the spotter would call “Car left”, “clear”, “Car left” for ONE move. A side that has been called therefore stays called until it really is clear — and the all-clear only comes after a delay, because a premature “clear” is the one call that steers you into a car.
Two screens, one point: you can see why.
The documented main complaint about comparable tools is not “it says the wrong thing” but “I don't know whether it is still running”. Both views are built against exactly that.

Observed, not claimed
No tool can know what a game provides — it can only measure it. This display shows what arrived plausibly at least once in THIS session. A zero does not count as a measurement. If something is missing it says “the game does not report it”, and the rules that would need it stay visibly quiet instead of silently.

The silence is in the log as well
Every call he kept to himself is listed with its reason: “braking zone”, “wheel to wheel”, “above your level”, “too soon after the last one”. You can see that on lap 12 he wanted to say something about the front tyres and let it go because you were running wheel to wheel. Anyone who can see why the tool stayed quiet also believes it when it speaks.
Six bands, one axis.
Every kind of call has exactly one rank. That sounds obvious and isn't: tools with two separate axes — “how urgent” and “how important” — have to guess which one wins in every conflict. Here there is nothing to guess.

Discarded means gone for good: nothing that has expired is ever caught up later. A call from two corners ago is no longer information, it is a distraction.

What he says does not hang on a voice file: events carry keys, not sentences. That is why he speaks 10 languages without anyone having to maintain 10 sets of recordings.

The engineer is cleared for ACC, Le Mans Ultimate and AC EVO — and even there he only talks about what actually arrives. This table is the expectation; in the program the only thing that counts is what was really measured in your session.

AC 1 is deliberately absent: there the capability observer confirms so little that an engineer would stay quiet more than he spoke. That is not a gap still to be closed — it is what those games give you.

No voice actor, no recordings, no cloud service: the text is spoken on your device. That costs nothing, works offline, and is the reason a new language here is a translation rather than a studio booking.
What we do not claim.
- On ACC and AC EVO the spotter is structurally weaker than in Le Mans Ultimate. Neither of them provides the lap position or the speed of individual opponents. The prediction runs there on our own derivation alone, and a car on a parallel straight that belongs elsewhere in the track logic cannot be ruled out.
- It does not get faster than about 145 milliseconds. Most of that is the system's speech output. The compensation is the prediction, not optimising the delay away.
- He does not know your opponents' strategy. He sees their gaps, their pit stops and their trend — not what is in their tank.
- Your own position in the spotter is up to 200 milliseconds old in Le Mans Ultimate. It comes from the same block of data as the opponent position it is computed against. A fresher position of your own would not be better geometry, it would be contradictory geometry.
- The history rules are built, and in this release they stay quiet always. They would need consolidated laps of your own per combination, and that consolidation has not been built yet. So it is not down to your laps, it is down to us.
